If you don't want anyone to join your thread without your consent you can either make it a private thread and PM other members to join or you can post thread sign ups. Post on your thread if its an open thread, private thread, or one that requires sign ups. If you don't make it clear that it is private or one that requires sign ups,anyone is free to join. When you finish a Role-Play edit it and write (Finished) next to the subject (tittle) of the thread.
